I am not sure who I am quoting, but it is said that (at least in my country) libraries are one of the last public places you can go that there is no expectation of spending money to enjoy the amenities. Bob enjoys libraries. We went to the Newton Library late yesterday afternoon. Although I have a card, I have never checked anything out there. A year or so ago a brand new building was built, and I had never been there, so we went. I really enjoyed it. The building has kind of a mid century modern feel with the seating. There are even a couple of booths like diner booths. It is airy, light, and open feeling. There are several separated sections. . . one for children,(littler ones) one collection is geared toward mid range kids and then there is an open room for teens. That is not to say that you cannot check out from any sections. I sat and read Prevention Magazine in front of the glassed in gas fire place. As it was beginning to get dark we headed home. That is when we watched the Wolf Moon rising as we drove through the dark.
