Should Greenland stay as part of Denmark?

Mr. Trump wants Greenland because of National Security. What do you think? What American interests are there in Greenland? What does the population of Greenland want? What are your thoughts?

Trump does not want Greenland because of National Security, but because Greenland rich in various natural resources, including minerals like gold, uranium, and rare earth elements, as well as fossil fuels. Of course it must stay part of Denmark.

I also think that the air base should be given over to Denmark. The USA doesn't need to have any military presence except for in the United States.

President Trump is not interested in annexing Greenland. He is interested in making a deal with Greenland/Denmark. In spite of the media's hysteria, which Trump loves to say outrageous things to tweak and annoy, his objectives are more common sense. He is after the rich minerals, natural gas and oil in the territory. Trump will pay Greenland/Denmark and protect the territory for that right. It is a mutually beneficial deal for both. He is also concerned over America's security. Should we let China or Russia gain influence over Greenland, or should the U.S. stop their advances. Doing nothing to secure this region in our Hemisphere invites trouble. Hope that helps!

Trump is just wasting his time trying to take Greenland. Europe will probably not allow it to happen and there will be no military confrontation.
