I Was Out Early (shocker)

Happy Tuesday Everyone! another cloudy, overcast day here today. At least there's no snow/ice in the forecast and looks like it will be warmer in the upcoming days. I was out early this morning with my oldest daughter. We ran a few errands and I finally got my packages to UPS so I'm anxiously awaiting my refund. I still have 2 more packages to send back but had trouble printing the labels so that will be another day. I get frustrated when things don't work like they're supposed to We also stopped by the lab as my daughter had to have bloodwork done and then got coffee and came home. She stayed for a little while and will be back tonight for our usual Tues night hangout, I'm busy working on an order for a customer (2 black scarves) and working with solid black yarn is hard. I have a high intensity light next to my chair and I need that so I can see the stiches as I crochet. Heaven help me if I drop a stitch. It's so much easier to crochet using lighter colors but I won't turn down an opportunity to make some $$ Last night we had grilled chicken on Caesar salad. It was so good. We got the Caesar Salad at Walmart (it was a kit) and it was delicious. It was so good that I put 2 more in my cart for our next order. Can't say there's much happening here today. I'm happy for a quiet day

Thanks for the update. It's going to be above freezing all week; and it's staying light longer! yay

I received a damaged package from Amazon, chatted online with them, they asked the photo and refunded without the need to send it back! That was good.

@Marilynda1225 - It's so annoying to send products back and this was such in bad conditions that there was no reason to send it back. I bought a lot from them the past year and I asked twice for a refund.

That sounds like an easy refund from Amazon. At least you didn't have to send it back

@Marilynda1225 It wasn't very cold today here. We will have a couple of warmish days

Your salad sounds really good. I'm usually more into hot food on these colder days but we had this Caesar salad as part of our Christmas menu and it was so good that I keep getting more.

Good afternoon... It is about 60F here with a cloudless, blue sky and lots of sunshine. Hopefully, you'll get the sunny skies in another day or so. (I was out checking our mail at noon.) Nothing going on here. My eyes are closed enough that I am having trouble talking on myLot today. I'm glad I don't make too many mistakes while touch-typing or nobody would read what I write. Pretty buys those salad kits at Walmart and adds various things to them. (When she has those is the only time she doesn't gripe about me keeping boiled eggs in the fridge. She likes part of one sliced onto her salads.) I don't like salads. I just like boiled eggs by themselves. It's too much trouble making deviled eggs just for myself.

I love salads loaded with all sorts of things EXCEPT eggs I haven't liked eggs since I was a kid and just the thought of eating one is just gross. I'm really hoping to see some blue skies and sunshine one of these days.

@Marilynda1225 Pretty only eats eggs once in a while if I'm scrambling them but will eat a slice or two of the yolk with a salad. I'm positive you'll see some blue skies soon.

At least if you drop a stitch when crocheting it's easy to pick it up again.

Every few rows I count to make sure I didn't drop a stitch. One time I was making a scarf and didn't know I missed a stitch and half way through the whole thing was crooked. I had to rip it out and redo it. What a pain.

I’m so glad you have a Tuesday night get together. It sounds so fun! I hate taking things back, don’t you? I mean, it has to be done, but boy, it is annoying to mess with. Right now it is 69 degrees and sunny, and oddly the high tomorrow will be 69, only it will be cloudy instead.

This is the first time in awhile that I've had multiple items that need to be returned. Yes, it's frustrating especially since the UPS place has been closed for the holidays. The good part is that it's from Amazon so they are usually easy returns and quick to refund.

I don't have a choice, Roscoe wakes me up early so I'm stuck getting up. Well, that's life with pups ...... I have to wonder if I could've taught him to use a litterbox

Pups do have a habit of expecting everyone to get up when they do. I'm lucky, though, that my daughter gets up before me so our pup bothers her first thing
