Tornado Warning / myLot

Well, it’s January 8th, and we’ve got a tornado warning this morning. Nothing like hearing the sirens.I just looked, and it doesn’t look nearly as bad as it usually does when a tornado warning is issued. I wonder if this will clear up before my appointment at the arthritis center. Oh, boy. My phone is going off again. What’s your weather like this morning?

We have 60F and storms here but no warnings... yet. We weren't supposed to get rain/storms until after noon. I hope the tornados don't touch down anywhere close to you.

I saw that there was damage in Purcell, OK. Hope it all stayed away from you. Who wants to see James Aydelott interrupting the infomercials for a tornado warning that early in the morning?

We just got some wind damage. Purcell did have significant damage though, you’re right.

I hate warnings of any kind. As soon as its hurricane time, I get elevated heartbeats and my anxiety goes up, I hope all will be OK. Stay safe,

Hope it didn't turn into a destructive tornado and that you are able to keep your appointment. Do you ever get used to tornado warnings? Just the thought of it scares me. Today we'll have temps in the 50s and looks like we might even see the sun.

No, I don’t ever quite get used to them really, although this time of the year they are really unexpected, and you don’t really think they’ll be that bad. I canceled that appointment due to the rain coming down. The warning is gone, but I don’t think I drive in that mess. I hope you do see the sun. You deserve some prolonged sunlight!

@AmbiePam I kind of thought this time of year a tornado was unusual but with all the weather changes everywhere I guess anything is bound to happen. Glad that you cancelled your appt and didn't have to drive in the rain. Yes, I'm hoping we see some sun today as tomorrow will rain into Saturday.
