Do you drink Coke?

Just before Christmas our lodger went to some social event and came home with the part-used bottles of drinks that were left over – some lemonade, ginger beer and Coke (in this case the zero-calorie no-sugar version).
Well I did drink a small glass of it, just to remind myself whether I liked it or not; it wasn’t awful but to be honest it wasn’t worth the trouble.
I offered it to the rest of the family – no takers. I offered it to everyone who visited, no-one wanted it. In the end I used it to clean the toilet. After all, the main ingredient, after water, is phosphoric acid which is widely used as an industrial de-scaler, so in our hard water area it was most suitable.
Funny how Coke has become such an iconic and apparently popular product. Do you drink it?

@Marilynda1225 It's a great de-scaler. I pour inside the toilet bowl and let it rest all the night.

I've never tried using it to clean the toilet but maybe I should give it a try?

I don't drink it. I prefer Pepsi. But I do buy it when I have a rat problem. They will drink it and then get gas. They can't fart so it makes them very uncomfortable at least. Often it doesn't kill them but does help encourage them to go away. And it's not going to hurt other animals

Not too often, although coincidentally I have some zero sugar Coke here.

Really? Why? In the Philippines, we love drinking coke, but as we grow old, we make sure to drink less because of its sugar content. Anyway, coke is very popular here, you can also buy "coke float" or "mcfloat" two different menu name, but one drink ingredient: coke with vanilla ice cream on top.

I don’t drink any sodas at all with the exception being the very occasional Sprite type of drink if I am really sick. I’ve just never cared for soft drinks.
When I was young, my Dad used a bottle of Coke to remove acid from car batteries. I figured if it could do that, it would probably do a number on my tummy, so I just never really got into it that much, even as a child.

That's what Dad used to say--that if it could clean up battery acid, what on earth did it do to your stomach?

I don't drink much soda but occasionally I'll enjoy a diet coke (or pepsi).

Classic Diet Caffeine Free Coke is a favorite of mine. I can no longer drink it since I now have kidney disease.

The marketing is so strong in Europe that kids drink it in the winter outside. Crazy
