Wound Up Today

Patch border collie came in bouncing all over. So I found one of her toys that she had forgot about. She threw it all over the family room.
I have decided that my broken legged rooster will be named Rooster. He is the one that is loose during the day and was blocking hubby Wednesday. Ornery Rooster is the young pretty boy.
It's 55 out at 10 this morning. So it should be a fairly comfortable day at the auction. Which I need to go get adult people clothes on for. Hope you have a good day.

Patch sounds as if she is having some big fun, good for her.
Somehow I missed that you had a rooster with a broken leg. Often they can get around fine on one leg, hopefully he does well. Have fun at your auction!

She was muddy and happy.
Yes, he broke it when he was a baby. I had to separate him from the hens as they stopped wanting to go in at night. He cant catch them in the run so would try jumping them as they went through the door. That time of day they just wanted to go to bed

I vaguely remember that now. I am sure the hens can definitely outrun him outside. My friend Tammy has chickens, she had one for several years that had a broken foot. She named it Peg Leg, but she called it Peg.

She loves mud too much.
He seems to know it as that's what I usually call him anyways.

@LadyDuck They at least don't mind it. They are bred to work in all weather. She will sit in a downpour happily.

@wolfgirl569 There are two very dirty towels sitting on my front porch. I use them to wipe the dogs backs and feet before they go into the main part of the house.

Oh, yeah, we set a record high (68) at 3 AM! It’s going to get cooler, then colder, than dirty S word.

She gets hyper when she can play in mud. Fuzzy cat plays with the toys too so she doesn't always know where they are.

We got to 61 and then started dropping. It's down to 40 now. Getting tired of these huge changes.

This one is from those first ones I raised that broke a leg as a baby. I had a milk crate setting wrong and he put his leg through the hand hole.
