What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know!
I'm making my dad's bolognese sauce. The recipe isn't his. He got it from a cooking lesson/demo that he attended many years ago. I always think of it as "his" though since he was the one who would make it. My mother shared the recipe with me I think before he passed. It is easy enough to make. It just takes time to cook the meat so it softens and you can shred it. I will have it over linguine. I'll bring some tomorrow to work for the new guy and also for my own lunch.
That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!

Glad to see you're home and hope you're feeling better. Sounds like you have a good dinner planned. I'm always in favor of pasta.
I have stew in the crockpot and the house smells sooo good.

With a full freezer and fridge, I had my favorite Black Forest ham sandwich with slice of tomato and splash of Italian dressing, ice cream sandwich and ding dong for dessert,

I am doing some cooking ahead as the next few days are busy ones. I have turkey chili in the crockpot and chicken orzo soup in a pan on the stove. I am also cooking some potatoes, and plan on those being a casserole of ham bites and a cheese sauce. I will put it together later today and refrigerate it. We have ham left over from Christmas that daughter gave us, i chopped it up then and froze it to make things with. Anyway, the kitchen smells really good today!
If I was there I would want to have a serving of your Dad’s bolognese sauce!!

I cooked two of the steaks and microwaved a bag of steamed potatoes, onions and bell peppers. We both have more than half of the steaks and veggies left after lunch so will probably eat the rest for supper.

I’m having sautéed mushrooms. I just made a big ‘ol pan of them, and they hit the spot.
