My sister texted me yesterday to let me know that he had a heart attack on Saturday. They along with my mother are down in or near St. Petersburg in Florida for 6 weeks. My mom and dad's best friends (aka my second parents) got there on Sat. Apparently about 45 minutes after they settled into their condo it happened. He has had heart issues over the past several years and his wife thinks that it was caused by him hauling luggage up 19 stairs. My mom got there on Sunday so she is there to be a support for them. I mean she was going anyway but it is especially good that she is there now.
My sister said so far he is okay but they were waiting on an MRI and those results. I imagine if he is stable and "fine" now that he should be so for the foreseeable future but what do I know?
The one creepy thing is that he has been saying for the past 2 years "I think (my dad) wants me" meaning he thinks that my dad wants him to pass so they can be together again. We hate when he says that.

Oh, my. Yes, it’s good that your mom is there to help. That is rather concerning that he keeps saying your Dad wants them to be together again. And climbing 19 steps with luggage isn’t easy for anyone!! Hope he will be okay.

That can't be a comforting thing to hear him say, no matter what.
I hope he'll be fine quickly.
I've had a "mild" heart attack. Last time doctors checked my heart, they said they couldn't see any signs of the heart attack I'd had. (Around 12 years ago now.)

That would be very worrying. I know when Vince had to be hospitalised in Ireland, it was stressful as everything was different to our systems. I hope he'll recover fully.

Many blessings to him, I wish him well and will put him in my prayers,

I bet they tried to get him not to move the luggage and he insisted, huh. I’m so glad your mom will be there for support.
