Housing Has Added Another to Their List of Reasons to Come Bug Me

So Housing has been coming out every other week to spray for roaches. (It's been like two months now) So we have left our living room furniture in the middle of the room instead of moving two heavy couches back and forth. They have to have access to the floorboards. Also have kept canned food and such out of the cupboards so they have access to them as well.
I have a doctor coming out for a visit in 8 days. The downstairs is in turmoil. I don't really want to tell him that management is spraying for COCKROACHES every other week. Yuck! That would be embarrassing.
So, they are coming tomorrow. Also, they will be checking the water heater out in the storage room. I had my daughter rearrange some boxes and sweep so the area is neat for their review. It's good that they are checking it, but I am so tired of their visits continually. The rep said this would continue until the roaches are gone. 7 visits later and we still have them somewhere? Ugh!
I think they spend their time setting around a table thinking up new reasons to come and 'bug' me/us. Not really but it sure seems like it sometimes.

We don't have any and haven't. They are doing everyone until they are gone. I think it's a waste to do ours. They said the apartment that has them is clear down from us. Checking the water heater is a smart thing to do. Something they haven't done in quite some time.

@celticeagle That is something they should do. They can set bombs off also. One place that my son lived in had them pretty bad and they set bombs out.

Why don't they just tent the place, fumigate it, and kill everything? What they've been doing doesn't seem to be working.

@celticeagle Well, yeah, you'd have to take your animals with you.

I think doing that would also kill our animals. We stay here during the spray and have no where to go if they did the tent thing.

I'm sorry they keep doing that.
I'm a little concerned about our landlady not wanting to paint this place before Section 8 will approve it again next summer. She doesn't really like doing things around here.

I'd keep on her. I hope she gets it done. I would be concerned too.

@celticeagle Section 8 will have to put in an order before she'll do anything.
Hopefully, she won't just tell us to move after all the work we've had done here. This is a rental house after all. She could probably get more rent than we were paying before...

I would hate to have them spray in my home. Yuck. I hope they get them under control soon.

That's our problem here so many cockroaches coming out late at night. I spray them but they still exist. I learn later that cockroaches are the insects that could never be destroyed. They thrive in warm, dark, humid environments with access to food, water, and shelter, commonly found in kitchens, bathrooms, sewers, basements, and near drains or garbage.

I have not dealt with roaches. Have you seen any bug of any sort in your place? Or is it that they think they're coming over from somewhere else?

That would be getting really old. I guess doctors have seen lots worse in their time but that still doesn't make you feel any better.
