Fog! Big Fog! It's so foggy that...

How foggy is it, Horse? It's so foggy that I can barely see my truck in the parking lot. OK, that was at 7:30 AM. That's the kind of fog that makes even the stupidest of drivers slow down. . At 9:30, I can see my truck, but I can barely see the morning joggers on the bike path 30 yards away. This is inland fog. It comes in over the Delta (farmland), not our famous Bay. Do you experience fog where you live?

We’ll get it in the summer after a rain usually, especially near the river and in the valleys.

I really hope you didn't need to drive in the fog this morning. Sometimes the fog is so thick here that I can't see cars coming down the street until they're right in front of the house and I can only see their headlights/taillights as they slowly drive past. I used to hate driving in fog. People DON'T slow down here on the highway no matter how foggy it was. I was always worried somebody would plow into the rear of my car. Now, if there is fog, I just tell Pretty I'm not going to drive anywhere. If we have a doctor appointment, I call and reschedule it.

@TheHorse I'm glad you didn't have any problems. I have a doctor appointment early tomorrow. We might have snow tonight. I may try to drive to Springfield even if we do get snow. This ophthalmologist is a nice guy but has already rescheduled my appointment once and extended the medicated eye drops I need to use before the appointment... I don't know if he'd do that again.

We do, but not as much as you guys do. I remember a lot of fog back in November when I was in California.

Tons of Fog here. Plus Smog (the heavily polluted variety). Yesterday morning and a few other days, the fog was so dense that even something 50 M away was barely visible. Road traffic gets very slow. One needs to drive with blinkers on and any speeding can be lethal.

I know the Bay Area is famous for that fog. We had some weeks back . . . really strange as it rolled in AFTER what looked like a regular morning. But here we are now with early summer (it feels like it anyway) - no more fog for now.

..... How foggy is it I just had to do that Never overestimate stupidity, some just don't get it. It's been a few years since we had any kind of fog here. I have no complaints if we never have any again

Lombardy region in Italy is well known for the fog. This morning I cannot even see the house in front of us. We had to go out, but we are waiting hoping that the fog dissipates.

Not too often. We just have cold and s**w here right now. When we lived right on Lake Erie there was a fog so thick you literally could not see your hand in front of your face. It was very eery on Erie. lolololol
