My Table

That duvet worked perfectly folded in half. I kept looking for a table cloth I liked and wasn't finding anything. Then I remembered I had that in the bedroom. And sorry this is the only picture I took today. Was having too much fun enjoying everyone.
I think everyone had a great time this evening. We visited for about 4 hours. Hubby and daughter in law watched football part of that time. But they were having fun. Adeline was very surprised at getting gifts again today. She loved them all. I found one missed gift just in time. Adelines mom forgot to put one of hers in the bag. She hadn't left yet when I went out to catch them.
I am glad it's over now. I will start putting the decorations away tomorrow. It will be nice to get back to a plain family room again.
Hope you had a good day.

Well I was just pissed off because I had to take them all down and then put them all in the shed
Was hard work

It worked perfectly. I might just put it in the Christmas stuff for next year.
I am always glad when they leave no matter how much I enjoy having them

I am so glad you all had such a good time, and that Adeline loved her gifts. I bet they enjoyed all the goodies you made, too!
My daughter in law wanted a tablecloth last year with a giant snowman on it, for her son who loves snowmen. She couldn't find one and neither could I--but we did find a cloth shower curtain that was on sale and made the best tablecloth for the little guy.

They did. Adeline loved the trail mix especially.
The shower curtain would last longer too. I am glad it worked well.

Sometimes, a person has to think outside the box. Or use the option of temporarily making one thing work that was not specifically made for what we need. I know some people (myself included) use plain white cotton sheets for backing a quilt, rather than purchase fabric that is often not as good of quality as a sheet. And I have repurposed a lot of clothing to make something else with--throw pillows, doll clothes, etc. In my opinion it's better to be inventive than it is to be wasteful.
You gave Adeline and her mom a Christmas time to remember, I am sure.
