How often do you take advice you get here?

A lot of us come to Mylot, and end up asking for advice. I wonder how many of us actually take that advice? The first time I can remember taking someone’s advice was from @GardenGerty, and she actually had given the advice to someone else. I don’t remember exactly what it was about, but I know it involved hand sanitizer.

I have taken the advice from someone, Sharon. She was talking about not putting our purses on bathroom floors when we are out and about because that brings some nasty germs. I never gave it any thought until she brought it up.

@AmbiePam Honestly with children I'm usually in a rush to get done and didn't think about it like I said until she said that. Then I realized! Lol.

It really depends on what the advice is about and who is giving it. Several of the people here are very knowledgeable and practical when it comes to giving advice. (I'm much less likely to take advice if someone seems to be preachy about it.

I am not sure it depends on the advice but the grocery advice helped me a lot and now my freezer remains full and when I order again I will not have to order as much because I will still have stuff,

I do take advice sometimes ….but I admit that I am quite stubborn , so I don’t always take advice ….maybe I should more often I don’t know !

I rarely get to see any advice here but I do learn a few things that have become useful . The advices are quite few because the platform is well-regulated.

I have to agree that sometimes advice given to someone else has benefited me. I always find conversations here interesting, useful (many times) and find I almost always learn something new here every day.
Maybe not so much as personal advice but I've gotten so many recommendations for good books, cooking ideas and tips, etc.
