What's for breakfast on this foggy and cold morning? / myLot

OK. l known it is not cold by Midwestern standards, but it really does feel chilly out. I'd estimate the temperature at about 48 F right now. We'll make the 50s later in the day. I scored some mixed Tempura last night for dinner. It was yummy. I saved just enough for breakfast this morning. I have also been grazing on a fried chicken thigh I bought at Safeway. What did you have for breakfast this morning? ,

Well I had Quaker Oats. I have lots of Porridge Oats in the house and I have no idea why I bought the Quaker. I think because I used to buy it 30 odd years ago as a quick breakfast for my kids Anyway, I don't think it has changed at all. And I still have 18 sachets left

@TheHorse Quaker is for life. No doubt about it. The box the sachets came.in has hardly changed at all.

We started today at 30F but are at 43F at 12:30 pm. I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast at 5 am after I took my morning meds. We're almost at our high of 46F now... We're under a winter storm watch now and have a forecast for heavy snowfall starting Friday and through the weekend with very low temps. I really hope you don't have that type of weather there....

I got out of my breakfast habit again and need to begin again. I had coffee. Maybe I need to do a coffee protein drink after my regular coffee. Once I'm in the house, I'll get back to eggs.

I had a 20g of protein Chobani drinkable yogurt. Let me tell you, it sure did not fill me up. It’s 49 degrees right now, here.

It's freakin cold here today so your temps seem like a heatwave to us here in PA. Of course that's not warm for California. For breakfast I had a cinnamon raisin English Muffin with cream cheese, raspberry jam and a banana.
