Did anyone see that movie, “Sinners”?

I think this movie came out this past summer and I know it starred Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld (who is married to NFL Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen). It was a box office hit, but I never saw it. I heard it was a little…much…so I skipped it. I don’t often see movies anyway. Well, it just broke the record for the most Oscar nominations beating out the previous record held by Titanic and La La Land. Michael B. Jordan, the lead actor, also got nominated for best actor as well as Oscar nominations for Best Movie and Best Cast (a new award). I don’t watch the Oscars, but I probably did about twenty years ago. Does anybody watch the Oscars? Did anyone see Sinners?

I don't think I have even heard of that movie. I didn't see the other movies either though lol - La La Land or Titanic! Never seen the oscars in my life either lol

No, I didn't watch the movie or watch the Oscars... I looked it up and it doesn't sound like something I'd like watching. If you're interested in watching it, though, here is the link to watch it for free.

It’s been rare for a summer blockbuster to do so well in Oscar nominations. Did you also see Wicked: For Good? It got snubbed which is apparently a surprise.

@AmbiePam I looked it up and said was on our streaming; however, it wants an upgrade or to buy to watch. I'll wait until I can without the added expense.

I've been meaning to watch it! I think it's still on HBO. I need to plop myself down and watch. I like vampire movies, and the concept of twin vampires is pretty cool.

The last time I saw the Oscars was around the 1990s. I did not see the movie "Sinners" even though I enjoyed Michael B Jordan in the "Creed" movies.

I don't watch Oscar's, Golden Globes, etc. It's just not a world I can imagine, and to tell you the truth, I've never been interested in those shows....I have not seen the movie Sinners. But they have to hit TV/streaming before I watch them, and I am not ever very up to date on movies, either. Heck, I have enough drama in real life, haha! I'll stick to a few shows, the news, and old movies without violence at this point, it's what works for me.
