Friday night update

Not seeing anything interesting in the news to discuss so I'll bore you all with the details of my life. 
I did the hour of tutoring this afternoon. Then I had an early dinner of leftovers that I had pulled out of the freezer last night. (Taco mac) It is amazing how some days I don't want to eat anything and other days I have a normal appetite. For now I've just been watching the news, I did the dishes, and I got a load of laundry going. Really exciting stuff. 
I'll just be hanging with the cats for as long as I can stay up given the fact that I was up so early. The cleaning lady is coming tomorrow but who knows when she will show up. I never know. I'll haul out the cardboard in the morning so she will just have to deal with the garbage and recycles. I did get most of the candle wax scraped off of everything tonight. There is still some but I will deal with that tomorrow.
What's everyone else up to tonight?

I’m just curled up on the couch watching Ridiculousness as the sleet hits my windows. I’m trying to find the perfect setting for my central heating. Too high and I start to get a headache from too much dryness. Too low and I’m afraid the pipes will eventually freeze.

We ate a simple meal, and I am in front of the desktop, with a heated blanket on. The cats are already on our bed, because the heated mattress pad is doing its job. Need to ride the exercise bike and just go on to bed.

Just watching TV, as she nears retirement, sis has become incredibly chatty..and texts me often. We don't get along that well as a rule, and she has ruined a couple of occasions with her unpleasantness..but whatever..if she wants to chat, I am willing to chat.

We are in survival mode and ready for the coming storm--I hope. The other three kids have called to check on us. My daughter and son in law are still sick with viral pneumonia, and my other son that lives about 90 minutes away has been out of town all week for work, and now he's getting home this evening and will have to get ready for the storm as soon as he can.
I hope you have a good weekend and don't have to go out for anything in the storm.

I just woke up... I'll need to go in and see how many dishes Pretty dirtied up and left for me to wash and cook the steaks she asked for in a little while. We'll just have a bag of steamer veggies to go with the steaks.
