How many people here still Iron Clothes. I haven't done so since the 1990,s A more casual dress approach has meant I don't need to have creases on trousers or shirts all neat and pressed either My neighbour even irons his socks and pants So do you still iron clothes?

Just finished ironing a set of my clothes. I iron my pillowcases too. Ironing relaxes me.

It's great that you find it relaxing. After my army days came to an end I did it for a while and then one day I couldn't be bothered and never did bother with it again

It's enjoyable especially if the clothes have a fabric soften with a cooling smell it makes the whole experience pleasant

I do since I love khaki and linen clothes. Also some pure cotton clothes need ironing

Not if you have a washing machine like ours, and bad eyesight like me

I don't blame you. It's a real pain in the butt job. Thank god I don't wear clothes that need ironing any more

We still iron clothes occasionally—mainly our clothes for going out, especially those that get wrinkled easily. Other than that, we don’t really iron much.

That's good. At least you don't stand over an ironing board for years of your life like I used to do especially when I was in the Army.

@Ineeddentures Ironing cloths is boring. I've been wearing casual cloths since my college days.

I haven't in a while. My husband has some shirts that would better with the buttons/placket and collar ironed, but I do not do it. Maybe I should. My clothes are mostly knit and stretchy.

I don't think you should do it. I don't think anyone should iron clothing , lol I detest doing it, had enough of it in the Army and for years after I left No more

Yes, I still iron clothes, both my husband and I are allergic to synthetic clothing. I only buy pure cotton shirts, dresses, everything. Not ironed they look so ugly.

@Ineeddentures - It's a real pain to find 100% cotton in our days.

@LadyDuck I will take your word for it, I have never had to see if I could get anything 100% cotton

Sorry to hear you are both allergic to synthetic clothing.

Nope, haven't ironed in years. My iron sits on the shelf in my laundry room and watches as we do the daily chores
