Snowed In...

Well at least I'm not in the office today lol, We have received a total of 16 inches of snow in the last 32 hours and I'm exhausted from shoveling my driveway and walk ways and I still have to clear off my Mazda & Coupe. Its nice to be off today but this is truly back breaking work and its soo cold outside. I kept getting snow inside my boots while shoveling so my feet were freezing.
Anybody else got a foot load of snow? Pray for me I'm going back outside to try to unbury my wife's coupe which is barely visible under the snow.

When I lived in Michigan my daddy would have to dig our car out. The snow sometimes blocked the front door. I will be thinking of you. Stay warm.

Yeah it sucks thanks Marie, the plows don't help either cause they barricade me in my drive way so I have to shovel through my exit if not put my truck in sport mode and power through it lol

You got a few inches more than we did and I feel so bad for you that you have to shovel it all. I remember those back breaking days of shoveling snow but now I can't do it anymore. At least my HOA clears the snow when it's more than 3 inches and this certainly was MORE than 3 inches ( we got about 14")

@BACONSTRIPSXXX they don't say snow shoveling is back breaking work for nothing. Hope you feel better and don't have to do any more shoveling.

We got a little over a foot of snow here... I'll go out and clean off the front porch and the sidewalk up to the house so the pharmacist can get to the front door but the car can stay buried. Mother Nature can clean the driveway and car off when she gets around to it.
At least you didn't have to shovel snow before driving in to do a full day at work!

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I hope everything is melting off for you. We're getting temps in the low-30s now so seeing some melting but it's freezing into solid ice when the temps drop to the single digits at night.

I hate to have to dig out a car. Especially when it’s bitter cold and windy like today. I am so glad my car is in the garage!! It helps so much.

Build a snowman and give it a big carrot.
If it stays cold it will stand up for as long as it is cold

I have never experienced snowfall in my area. It looks wonderful. I want to experience it at least once in my life. But what I frequently come to know about the mess following snowfall, I think I'm happier here in my town.
