She can’t wait to leave Oklahoma.

My sister took care of her entire family last week (with flu B), and amazingly, never got it. It’s a good thing because she is leaving for Mexico (cruise) on Sunday, her 47th birthday. One of her friends is going on a cruise, and asked Mindy if she wanted to go. She’s been to Mexico about 12 times (we went as kids several times), but she doesn’t like the cold, and in Oklahoma, winter doesn’t even start until January. She sure likes to travel. Normally, she takes her family, but I think it will be nice for her to go without them. I tell you, having three children is one thing, but when one is Hudson, that’s an enormous amount of work. I mean, I knew he was work, but until I went to California with them, I didn’t understand how exhausting it was. It’s amazing they bother with vacation. Hudson actually had surgery this morning in his mickey button (it was leaking). That’s partially where he’s fed, through his stomach. I hate summer’s 110 temperatures so much I don’t mind a cold snap. Although, I know I’m in the minority. picture is Hudson post surgery
