Friday Coffee Talk

Happy Friday Everyone! well, it's sunny. That's about the only nice thing I can say about the weather today. 
Otherwise I'll sound redundant when I complain about how cold it is.
The good news (or hoping it is) is that the potential storm predicted for Sunday looks like it's going to miss us. A big YaY for that. We certainly don't need more snow on top of what's already here. It isn't even the snow that's causing so many problems but the ice that's in between and on top of it all.
Yesterday two big trucks from the town came through my community and removed all the snow that was at the curbs. One truck moved all the snow into a dump truck and then the dump truck took it away. At least it was interesting to watch and see my tax dollars at work
But, as soon as they were done what do you think happened? my "not so nice" neighbor across the street moved his car back in front of my house. I have no idea where it's been for this week since all the cars had to be removed but now it's back.
Meanwhile, on a happier note....my knees feel better today and even though I'm planning on not doing much at least I can move around better than yesterday.
I have to call my insurance company as my house insurance is coming up for renewal and I want to go over it with him. Also my friend called so that's a call back I need to do but probably not until after my daughter takes her lunch break.
Walmart is coming soon with our grocery delivery and so far it looks like we're getting everything we ordered.
Other than that, nothing much is going on. Hard to believe that January is almost over.

@Marilynda1225 Hubs came down with a cold earlier this afternoon. I cancelled reservations. Bummer.
He did make me a martini, but washed his hands first.

@AmbiePam poor Mush wanted to go out but there's nowhere for her to walk without slipping on the ice. Its pretty treacherous here even though they did their best to clean it all up.

Guess it could be worse than having that stupid car take up residence in front of my house. Yes, I'm really glad we won't be getting that storm they're talking about that's going to hit over the weekend. I've had enough hope you're doing okay and surviving the cold.

If your city has any vandals, you need to hire them to vandalize that car every time it's parked in front of your house. 
Two guys from the garage just came and took our car in to be worked on. At least that's finally getting done.
We got more snow during the night. It was only about an inch but I didn't want any at all. More is in the forecast for this afternoon/overnight... I hope that forecast is wrong.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks, but it's snowing again right now. (We had to up the thermostat. My bedroom is chillier than normal.)
I do wonder why they're always parking it in front of your house. That would annoy me. It's one thing when the neighbor's kids/grandkids park in front of our house when they have a yard full of visitors but to do that when there's no reason would make me upset. I'd have to say something.
I hope it's not too expensive, too. Pretty says we can afford it so I'm trusting her on that. I'd also like to get the window motor on the driver side replaced but she says to wait on that. (I won't go to drive thrus because I can't roll my window back up if I roll it down. I have to park and pull the window back up while Pretty presses the up button inside the car. That makes Pretty mad... She's always asking to go to drive thrus and I refuse.)

I hope your forecast is wrong too and that you don't get more snow. Even an inch is too much after that last storm. I certainly would like to have that car just disappear from in front of my house Hope your car gets done and it isn't a big hit to your wallet.
