We are getting a slight warm up soon if the forecast doesn't change. It's showing low 30s for Friday here and a few days next week. But not soon enough for me to skip shoveling out. If I could get to my truck door I wouldn't have to. The truck is 4 wheel drive.
It is supposed to get in the twenties this afternoon so I will shovel some then. I hope it doesn't take me very long. But I have a few days to get it done.
I have a load of laundry in the washer now. Then I will have to do Jill doberman's blanket. She had a boo-boo last night.

A boo-boo is an oops or for little kids a minor injury. For Jill it was she pooped in her crate

We're supposed to have a relatively warmer week compared to what we've been getting. That will be nice.
I'm hoping the car is done soon but not today. (I can't see well enough to bring it home this morning. I don't know if I'll be able to see this afternoon or not.)
We still have mounds of snow/ice on streets and some streets haven't been cleared yet. (I can see them on the live-view satellite maps.) The street a block up from us is still covered in snow and ice. Pretty said we could walk to the doctor's office tomorrow for my checkup. I cancelled the appointment this morning. I'm not walking on a snowy/icy street.

@wolfgirl569 Mid-40s to mid-50s for highs here. I think they wait for Mother Nature to clear side streets that don't get a lot of traffic.

The high twenties and low thirties wil be warm here.

I think we're supposed to hit almost the freezing mark today so hopefully we'll see some melting here as well. The sun is shining

@wolfgirl569 can't believe that it's so bad that you're still dealing with shoveling. At least you got half done but it certainly would be great if it got warm enough to melt the rest

Oh wow, that is cold there...sorry to hear that. We usually are similar to that this time of year...but we're in the 40s currently and supposed to get 50s all week after.

Aww, poor Jill. It is going to be kind of an up and down week, but warm the next couple of days. It is showing snow for Tuesday evening into Weds. but it will be 35 to 36. I hope we don't get any rain mixed in though. That will create a problem again..but most of what is here will be half melted by then anyway.

The high here today is 51 degrees, which is definitely warm compared to the 20's we have been having.
