Do you have any invasive species in your area?

So @MarieCoyle was mentioning the non native species in Florida (pythons and iguanas) that are harming the environment. It made me think of the non native species we have in Oklahoma wreaking havoc. The major one is feral hogs. They kill cattle, wildlife, pets, and trample crops. Texas has a massive problem with them too. Another big problem is various Asian carp species messing up the waterways. But a lot of states are battling that.
What about your area?

A huge issue we have here in Washington is the European green crab. In the state parks where I host, we put posters around and ask those who find one to keep it out and notify the rangers so the fish and wild life can investigate. We also have the zebra mussels, Himalayan blackberry, Northern Giant Hornet, feral hogs, and Nutria. They have been encouraging people to eat the Nutria, a rodent..

Southern Illinois has some feral hogs around the Shawnee National Forest area, but none as far north as here. We have Asian carp, many invasive types of plants and vines, way, way too many deer and let us not ever forget we have so many Canadian geese it's ridiculous. The geese never fly south now. They just stay here. Yesterday, a flock of geese were just sitting on the ice on one of our lakes. My son started laughing and said, if they are waiting for it to melt, they are going to have to wait awhile!
