When we moved here ten years ago. My cousin and her husband had12 rental homes. They have sold three since we have moved here. They are in their late 70's so they have decided to sell two more. They wanted to waited until the renters moved out which they did.
So I went with them to help them clean the two. They were not that bad. I love to paint the inside of houses so I helped her paint the inside of the houses and her husband had his son in law helped him paint the outside of the house. .
The one house has already sold. The other one is a big four bedroom house which they want $500,000 for. It is worth that much but they have not got any offers at all.
They even had an open house and no one came. When they bought this house they paid only $8,000 cash for it. .
She paid me today cash for helping her paint the two houses. My husband and I will spend the money as cash. I do not want to claim anymore money than we have to on taxes.
I do hope she sells this house.

Those houses would be snapped up overnight her. Housing is incredibly scarce and incredibly expensive.

Sounds like you have been busy helping ….i love decorating . If the weather hasn’t been great there ….i don’t know ….maybe that’s why there hasn’t been much interest in the house up until now …. Im sure it will sell in time …

I noticed you weren't here as much lately and wondered if you were sick. I'm glad you were just helping paint houses instead of being ill.
