As I have mentioned in another post, I recently started a new job. For the last few weeks, I have been working 9:00 to 5:30, Monday and Friday in the office and the rest from home.
Well, today my schedule has changed. I work from 8 to 4:30, Wednesday and Friday in the office and the rest from home.
Honestly, I am do like being able to start and finish earlier. It also means I get home earlier when I have to go in the office.
Things have been going well with it. I am enjoying it.

That's nice that the schedule changed in your favor. How are you enjoying working from home on the days you don't have to go into the office? Some people love working from home, some hate it.

@dodo19 So many people work jobs they do not like, so I’m glad to hear you found one you like.

I'm glad the new schedule suits you better than the old schedule. When I was working, as long as I could take care of everything and still see Pretty, I was happy with it.

@DaddyEvil it definitely makes more sense to do that. With kids, you kinda have to work around their schedule and such.

@dodo19 Very true. I used to prefer working at night. When I got full custody of my daughter, the judge told me I'd have to switch to working during the daytime when she was at school so I was home with her during the night.

My two eldest go off to school on their own. They're pretty good with that. As for my son, I will need my husband's help with dropping him off, most mornings. I will still try to do it when I can, but for the most part, it'll have to be him.

I'm glad you're enjoying your job. I would have liked to work from home before I had to retire.

@LindaOHio I'm sure I will. But I do have some time before that point.

@dodo19 Yes. Aside from some physical limitations, I can do what I want when I want! You will love it when you get to that point.

So nice that you are enjoying your new job. The last job I had before i retired was one that I enjoyed too. Each day I had something new going on so I never was feeling bored by repetition.
And you even get off an hour earlier. That's nice.

@dodo19 ........It makes it all a lot more enjoyable when you still have some day left at the end of your day.

Having the extra time is great and I'm happy to hear you like your new job. Having the option of working from home a few days a week is awesome.

As long as you are enjoying it, that is the main thing.
I like an early start as well
