As I have mentioned in another post, I recently started a new job. For the last few weeks, I have been working 9:00 to 5:30, Monday and Friday in the office and the rest from home. Well, today my schedule has changed. I work from 8 to 4:30, Wednesday and Friday in the office and the rest from home. Honestly, I am do like being able to start and finish earlier. It also means I get home earlier when I have to go in the office. Things have been going well with it. I am enjoying it.

I'm glad the new schedule suits you better than the old schedule. When I was working, as long as I could take care of everything and still see Pretty, I was happy with it.

@DaddyEvil it definitely makes more sense to do that. With kids, you kinda have to work around their schedule and such.

@dodo19 Very true. I used to prefer working at night. When I got full custody of my daughter, the judge told me I'd have to switch to working during the daytime when she was at school so I was home with her during the night.

That sounds like a nice schedule. I loved getting off at 4 when I worked because I beat all the traffic driving home!

So nice that you are enjoying your new job. The last job I had before i retired was one that I enjoyed too. Each day I had something new going on so I never was feeling bored by repetition. And you even get off an hour earlier. That's nice.

My two eldest go off to school on their own. They're pretty good with that. As for my son, I will need my husband's help with dropping him off, most mornings. I will still try to do it when I can, but for the most part, it'll have to be him.

@dodo19 Yes. Aside from some physical limitations, I can do what I want when I want! You will love it when you get to that point.
