Sunday's dessert

It’s summer in Australia and we’ve been having some really hot days in amongst more pleasant ones. It’s good weather for being outdoors and on Sunday evening we went to an outdoor theatre to see Notting Hill. Vince’s brother and his daughter went with us.
You could sit in deck chairs or take your own. There were picnic tables behind the seating and we took a pizza or, more accurately, two pizzas. Vince also made these tarts which were pretty yummy. He put a thin layer of chocolate on the base of the pastry which helped keep it firm and not get soggy from the custard/cream filling. They were a bit messy to eat but worth sticky fingers.

The tarts look delicious! I'm ready for warm weather again. The Weather Channel is showing we might have snow again on Saturday.

@JudyEv Our high yesterday was 70F/21C but we're supposed to get colder as the week goes on.

Oh, those look so good. Even in winter which it is here I would enjoy them. Clever Vince with the chocolate.

Well, very tasty and good looking but we already have so much of sweet stuff in the recent days that I shall not bother you for more!
But are not you approaching the Autumn time?
We are having max crossing 30 C so day time winter effect is almost over and it does not even feels like Spring!

Seems like similar problems everywhere.
Weather and season patterns are going haywire!
We sometimes have just a few days of months having almost the full month's rains during the Monsoon season.

Those tarts look wonderful! I am on ice cream mood here because of the summer heat. And I´m sleeping over the blankets most of the night. I get into my bed at dawn only.
