The right way to eat these chocolates according to the packet

One of the residents in our village took a tray of liqueur chocolates to the film night and we were all invited to share in them. They are only about 1 1/2 inches long. There were instructions on the bottom of the packet as to how we were supposed to open them. Although they look like tiny bottles, you’re supposed to treat them like a wine glass by holding the ‘stem’. You peel off the paper, bite off what is now the top, 'drink' the liqueur then devour the rest of the chocolate. It worked well but I’ve always just tackled them from the small end. None of this matters but I thought I'd share it. Have you tried these? I’ve enjoyed them a few times.

That is the correct way to eat those kind of chocolates. My mother never listened, she always spilled the liquor inside.

@JudyEv I like liquor chocolates, particularly those with the Swiss Williamine liquor.

I've always eaten them the wrong way but I've managed not to spill the middle yet.

Yes, many times, but I never read the instructions We were given a gift of them. I stored them in our liquor cabinet, but will be sure to check for instructions.

The instructions were on the base. I think it's probably okay to just eat them however you choose.

Seems like it would be easier to nip off the small end - I'd think trying to bite the thicker part might collapse the whole thing, and then you'd have a mess!

I know what you're saying but they're very small. You could try one each way and see which you like best.

These sound like some I used to see at a store that carried stuff from around the world. Interesting to try new things. I do enjoy different flavors like this. Liquer type things.

Yes I have and they really looked like miniature liquor. My friend took a photo of them coz the packaging looked like real and posted it on her Facebook before eating them. I forgot who gave them to me. I had dozens and had to share them to my friends.

To read the wrapping they have to be held as if they're a bottle.

You Aussie were told to eat a chocolate as the Queen would, a finger and a thumb at the base...using your othr hand to dispose of the sticky wrapper.
