I’m resisting running the heater.

After so many days of 70+ degrees temperatures, it was 28 F (-2C) this morning, but I resisted turning on the heat. It’s 42F now, and it still feels cold. The dog is under the blanket, but the dog gets under the blanket in any weather. If I had realized how cold it was going to be last night after midnight I would have turned the heater on for sure. Are you running the heater, the air conditioner, or nothing at all?

Heat has been running steadily up north since before we arrived in FL on Dec. 4th. No a/c needed for several weeks in FL. Put your heat on if you’re cold!

@AmbiePam You can save money in other ways. Never deprive yourself heat, especially now since you aren’t feeling well.

@AmbiePam Our electric rates here are just nuts. I turn my heat off if it's not cold, and we sure do keep it a lot cooler inside than we used to. I hate it, but hey...the bills are insane.

I had the heat totally off for three days. But last night and today the temperatures dropped, and had to turn it back on. We have had 40-50 MPH winds and oh, that wind is bitter cold! Get warmed up, Amber!!!

@AmbiePam I'm glad. It's hard for me to get anything done when I am chilled to the bone!

We left the heat running during the beautiful weather. The nights still dropped into the low-40s the last few days. Right now it's still only 36F here. The Weather Channel says we could get icy rain and/or snow this afternoon/evening/overnight.

I gave in and turned on the heater. And, my dog came out from under the blanket. I hope you don’t get snow.

@AmbiePam We're clear up to 41F now and The Weather Channel now shows possible snow tonight. Thanks. I really hope we don't, too.

Today was so warm, I opened windows to let the house air out. Nice not needing the heat on.

The heat has been on for weeks. It's been much too cold not to have it on. You should turn yours on!!!

It seems like everyday is a different temp. Yesterday, it was almost 80 and today it is in the 40s, so we kind of switch back and forth on the heater and air.

Definitely keeping the heat on at the moment. I have a feeling we will keep it on for a while.

Right now I am running the AC, it got to be 77 degrees in the house and that's too hot for me to handle.

Right now we are in the 80s but I do not put on the AC because by Monday they say we drop into the 50s.

My heat is still on and it's really damp and cold here today. I can't wait to be able to turn it off and let it rest. Looks like we might be in for another storm Sunday into Monday but so far they haven't been able to predict how many inches of that wonderful thing called snow we'll get.

I just have the fan on in the lounge today. I don't think it's going to get hot enough to need the A/C.

Our heater is always on in winter and any cold months. Our heater is only off when we spent our winter vacation in the Philippines.

I try not to run it during the day, if possible, to keep heating costs down. I'll wear a sweater and if needed run a space heater to stay warm. In the evenings I keep it at 62 degrees. I have a heated blanket for sleeping. I'm not a fan of cold weather or winter, lol.

Well we don't have any of them. What we are using is a ceiling and desk fans.

I had the heater on this morning, but it is a nice sunshiny day now..and warm in here with the sun streaming in. Sadly, probably will be the last day for awhile.
