I bought Yvonne a nice wee box of chocolates

Because Yvonne has been unable to leave the house since November I have developed a habit of buying her a wee surprise every time I go out to the shops
She said I had to stop buying her expensive surprises like the nice wee sparkling diamond ring I bought her, and the new phone, the lovely necklace,
So I bought her a box of chocolates
A brand that used to be quite good.
Sadly not any more
The individual chocolates all tasted the same, they are smaller, and the box only had 14 in it.
So I need some inspiration for these little surprise gifts I like to buy Yvonne
Money is no object and Yvonne doesn't not need to know how much a gift costs.
Rather foolishly I left the receipt for the ring on the coffee table and she picked it up ......
And went nuts lol

Oh well I bought Prime because she likes Prime and now gets stuff from Amazon with free delivery

Band about 4 or 5 ml wide in 9 carat gold
Cluster of really nice Diamonds mounted very nicely

Sometimes I feel really sorry for her but can't tell her that because she would go nuts
So I buy her stuff instead.
I can tell her I love her millions of times in a day
But she won't accept sympathy

I am lucky on a couple of levels
I am lucky to have Yvonne
And very lucky to not to have to think of worry about spending money on what I want

chocolate goodies are good, but fattening & hard on the body
but I'm sure you know all that, & never leave the receipt where
it will be seen unless you want it to be seen.

Chocolates won't do Yvonne any harm
They never have.
Receipts , aye well I have left a few lying around and she has picked them up and seen them and asked if I want to keep them
I wouldn't want any receipt to be seen lol

I know
But we were lucky enough to find ourselves in a position of having to spend a lot of money so as not to take our savings above a certain limit
So I started investing in Gold and Diamonds in the form of nice jewelry for Yvonne
I'd rather Yvonne has it in nice things rather than lose it to the government in taxation
Most of my tokens of love are in the form of chocolate
Because I know Yvonne will want to share them with me
