@Ineeddentures Luckily had extra car keys so went to meet friend. He. He has a key. That was a weird drive though..sheets of ice falling off the trees.

@snowy22315
That would have been weird right enough
I bet one could get badly hurt if one was standing under a tree and a big ice sheet fell of it from a great height

That's not so bad then Raquel
What would you have done if your daughter had left her keys inside the house
Climbing through windows might be fun

George mastered the art of using a knife or blunt object to get into a locked door. Many a time people would lock the bathrooms at Pizza hut. A few neighbors also locked themselves out. One apartment we lived in, only had deadbolts. Made it almost impossible to lock yourself out, unless you lost your key in public.

@Ineeddentures I wish, but I don't think I could get him on a plane, or get him to get a passport. Neither of us have one.

@Ineeddentures - I never put the keys in my pockets, always in the closed space in my purse.

Makes sense.
Yvonne has a place in her purse form the keys but when she has her biker jacket on she uses an inside pocket between the lining and the body armour

@ineeddentures Oh yes. When we lived in Paris we drove out to a small place just beyond the south side of the city. We went into a cafe and I locked the car and house keys in the car with the headlights on. Wife was 8 months pregnant and had to walk 2 miles in driving rain with no coats to a dismal hotel where we stayed the night. Next day got a mechanic to open car in 2 seconds but by then battery was flat. Awful night. We got over it.

Oh dear,
That is about as bad as it gets.
I don't get to look after keys when we are out
Yvonne even looks after the bike key and carries the spare key just in case.
Amazing how quick a mechanic could open the car,

One time I went into the garage for something and then I couldn’t get out of the garage because the button on the door handle from inside the house was pushed in, which I didn’t check before going into the garage, and so the door wouldn’t open. I was banging on the door and yelling for my parents, but no one came. I don’t remember how long I was in the garage, banging and yelling before somebody finally came to see what was going on and let me out of the garage back into the house. That was when I lived here with my parents many years ago.

I've misplaced my keys and been unable to find them but fortunately they would eventually be found. I have locked myself out of my car before (actually locked them in my trunk while shopping).
Losing or misplacing your keys or wallet are 2 things that will raise the blood pressure and anxiety levels for sure!
