Do you ever forget the correct age?

It used to be more common when people used checks, but I would find myself after the first few months into the new year, I’d still occasionally want to write the previous year down.
Well, I noticed that with my age. I do a bunch of surveys, and I have noticed since my birthday Sunday, I keep wanting to put 44 instead of 45 when they ask me to fill it in.
Does it take a bit for you to adjust to those changes?

Not as much as I used to, but I do. I've written 2025 on a couple things. Maybe by my birthday next month I'll have it together.

I keep trying to age forward and say I am 74 and I do not know why.

Not for me. I was getting really tired of putting in 73... wonder how long it'll take for me to get tired of putting in 74?
And, belated birthday greetings if I haven't already sent them.

OH certainly! The moment I reached 40, I often get confused with my age. Whenever I'm asked about my age or whenever I have to share it, I need to think of my brith year just to remember the exact number!

Fortunately no. I adjust to the new years and my new age quite easily.

I only write two or three checks in a year and I always ask for the date while writing one. Pretty and I had to check her age with a calculator because we didn't have enough fingers to count that high.
(I told her she's REALLY getting old!)

Yeah, sometimes..I don't think I have messed up on the year since it changed though.

Doing surveys it makes it easy for me the 6 and the 9 are one above the other so I do not forget.

Not with age, although I'd like to forget, lol. Some calendar years I do. I did with 2025 at first.
Remember, age is only a number. I know some who get older who stop at one age and forget from then on...
