How many rugs do you have in your home?

I have one rug in my “hallway”, and one in my living room. I have a mat in front of my front door, but if you saw it you wouldn’t count it as a rug either. My late grandmother used to have so many rugs at the entrance to her living room we’d trip on them. She didn’t want dirt on her WHITE carpet. White carpet seems like such a bad idea. So, rugs in your home?

There’s one outside all three doors. One inside two of them. One in front of the sink in the kitchen , one in front of the fridge. One in both bathrooms and one in the laundry room. Oh and one in she child’s room. So 11.

@thislittlepennyearns Most of mine have been fun, but lately I’ve been getting the free ones to review, and my latest is pretty tame.

I have an area rug in my living room and small rugs in my master bathroom (one in front of the sink and one in front of the shower). Otherwise everything else is hardwood floors. My Christmas mat is still in front of my front door I never could picture white carpet in any of my houses.

I really wish I had hardwood floors. Anything but carpet.

@AmbiePam I'm happy with my hardwood floors. I had carpet in my other house and it was so much harder to keep whereas hardwood just needs a quick going over with a Swiffer and the occasional vacuuming.

Let me count.. 5 or 6 ... If I include Carpets, the number could be 7 to 8. Frankly here others want a Carpet in summers also. I do not want that. But I am not given the option to disagree ! On some carpets I actually walk in my slippers. However, we regularly wash many of them in our washing machine or some we get dry cleaned.

I have a large mat at the door, and then another one to the right, which is right in front of the front hall closet, there is a bench across from the closet to sit on to tie your shoes, and I have a small mat under it to keep our shoes on, then in the other direction we have another mat that matches the one in front of the closet and it leads to the kitchen. I have a nice plush and pretty mat in the bathroom.

We have two here. One in the bathroom and a full room rug in Pretty's bedroom. Most of this house is wall-to-wall carpeting but the kitchen, the bathroom and Pretty's room are some type of laminated wood flooring and it's COLD under your feet. Our carpet is several shades of brown so doesn't show dirt easily.

Our house is carpeted in the main rooms (bedrooms, TV room, living room) We have through rugs in the dining room and hallways. Carpets are a pain to keep clean aren't they. If I had the opportunity I'd go with nice wooden floors.

Probably around 10. I have more than I need, especially in the kitchen. They get in the way

Zero. I have door mats to wipe my feet on, but no rugs or carpet. Dust magnets.

I have doggy blankets to trip over . No rugs. I had an aunt that wanted white carpet. She had a lot of rugs and still wanted everyone to take their shoes off too.

I have two. One is in the tiled foyer leading inside the house from the front door. The other is a large area rug that is in my living room, to add decor and protect our wood floors. Each of the bedrooms in my house are carpeted, but I've been thinking about extending the wood flooring into all three rooms.

We don’t have rugs anymore as our floor is heated. We only have a small floor mat in the bathroom

Understand having them with a white rug... We have no rugs. We used to have a mat like you mentioned but got rid of that.

In Florida, we have one area rug in our living room and a half moon shaped mat by the lanai door. The entire rest is tile.

White carpet IS a bad idea, yes. But white is always beautiful, esp when it comes to flooring. Amber, you know I can’t discuss rugs right now. All I have now is the carpeting that came with this bedroom. It is a cross between aqua, green, and grey, can’t quite put it anywhere on the color spectrum. I do know I always feel the urge to cover it up, so now I can show you the new area rug that’s on the way. And guess what - it’s fully assembled. Like a normal rug. The pattern reminds me of swimming pool :)
