28 Days of Eating Clean

I have to admit it’s been a lot harder and a bit more expensive than I thought, but today marks a full month since I changed my diet and been eating clean. I cut off eating pork, fried foods, soda, fast food and anything that’s not made from scratch and honestly I feel a lot better. Now every meal I cook or prep is with extra virgin olive oil and every meal has lots of greens. I even stopped adding sugar to my coffee and then eventually stopped drinking coffee entirely now I have my green tea with honey instead. Its been a good journey so far and overall I lost about 8 pounds and feel like I have a lot more energy. Image is my own from yesterday’s lunch.

It's a lot more expensive to eat that way but can be worth it for some people. I hope you can keep it up.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I just ate the last of my red cherries. If you see some there, pick up a few pounds of them for me, will you?

Good for you...coffee isn't bad for you though. It is a major anti oxidant.

It isn't but having it with sugar and cream makes it unhealthy, I just have green tea now with honey to sweeten it

Clean eating is expensive I think that’s what makes it so hard for most people. Nice that you have more energy now!

Yeah I'm spending about an extra 70 bucks a week at whole foods but Iv also replaced unhealthy snacks for fruits instead

Wow I give you a lot of credit as that's not easy to do. I'm happy that you feel better and have more energy. I know that clean eating can be expensive and time consuming when you are preparing your own food rather than just picking up something at a fast food place. Good for you!!

Yeah, I don't mind the meal prepping and I'm saving money every week by packing my own healthy lunch as oppose to eating fast food
