With one eye firmly on the weather I’ll keep the other eye here on myLot and celebrating the music of 50 years ago. Here’s another one of those acts who will show up in the 60-year-old list as well. Surf’s up! It’s O.K. - The Beach Boys If there’s anything the Beach Boys invoke, it’s summer fun. That’s exactly what this song is about. This song wasn’t very successful, barely cracking the top 30. If you remember a Beach Boys song from 1976, it’s most likely their far bigger hit single, the cover of “Rock and Roll Music.” I skipped that one and bought the 45 of this, because I found this song pure fun.
