Humans have grown weak and depend on all of the modern things in life. Do you think we could survive an ice age if it came..
Sharks, jellyfish, turtles and alligators have been around for millions of years. They have survived. But do you think modern human can survive.
After all modern humans have only been around for 300,000 years.

Yes
I think we would survive an ice age,
Well some of us anyway
I am certain an ice age doesn't just happen over night, plenty time to plan,
Be a gradual process, humans would adapt , invent, survive,
We are a bit more advanced than we were 300,000 years ago

The next ice age is predicted to begin in about 10,000 to 11,000 years, but human-induced climate change may delay this occurrence significantly. Current emissions of carbon dioxide are likely to prevent the next ice age from happening for much longer, possibly up to 200,000 years.
I bet humans won't look like us then
And that's only when it begins
How long until Earth is total covered in ice like in the last ice age
Duration of an Ice Age
An ice age can take several thousand years to develop fully once it begins. Generally, the onset of an ice age involves a gradual cooling of the Earth's climate, which can occur over a period ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 years.

I don’t know. We can’t survive two days without electricity anymore.

I think humans could survive, but it would be really tough. We rely so much on modern systems now. On the other hand, our technology might actually be what helps us get through something like that.

During the pandemic, I think our country had the longest lockdown ever. WE couldn't go out, we couldn't interact with anybody. We survived mentally because of the internet. Imagine, if there was no internet, no electricity, no tv to entertain us? The lockdown was mentally draining and if the ice age comes, I don't think we have that mental strength to survive it.
And you are right, we have grown weak because we are too dependent on technology and the modern life.

The Ice age is bound to come.I think humans will definitely survive it,because even Early Hominins survived it about 24,000 years ago.

Modern humans have been around for longer then 300,000 years according to some estimates by scientists. And yes, humans have survived ice ages.

I think they would as it would not be an instant change. Unless it is caused by something like war.

They say that the human race is not going to survive anyway. We will become extinct. I don't think we would survive an ice age.
