Have you ever stolen anything?

March 17, 2026 4:35pm CST
Yes indeed good people of Mylot I am asking this question which is have any of you ever stolen anything before? I have, I had to, or I wouldn't have eaten. I have stolen other things as well which I might add to replies. But I want to know about you? Stealing is stealing, even if it's just a single sweetie from a pic and mix in Woolworth. I had to put that in because surely everyone has done that So people Tales of stealing please

It was not my intention to steal, but I remember grabbing paper to wrap a gift in a store, stopping to talk with someone and walking out forgetting to pay.

I stole a red pencil once when I was a child because I didn't have one and desperately wanted one. I suffered a lot of guilt over this so haven't stolen anything since. Not anything that I choose to remember anyway.

I stole a puppy once for much the same reason you stole a red pencil Judy I would have suffered a lot less guilt if the puppy dog hadn't jumped out of my arms, landed in the road and got squashed by a lorry

Oh as kids I think we steal stuff and don't even know it's stealing as it's not like major. Or we do know it's stealing but ignore that fact

@lovebuglena Lenny doesn't seem like he was a bad boy Lena Actually I think he sounds like he was a patient hard working loving husband Because apart from him leaving high you and dry, you did say a lot of good things about him too.

I didn't steal but took toys from a minimarket when I was under 10 years old, at that time I didn't understand that I had to pay for them.

I never thought about it at all until I was homeless and hungry. And once when I was at school I did indeed raid Woolworths Pic and Mix.

I have not, but some have stolen items like books from me. A few borrowed but never returned them. And at least one "stole" books without even asking me. I found them in their home later! I have never stolen anything due to the guilt factor.

Ah you have been the victim of theft. I never considered the victim until now I am sorry that people have stolen from you. I will think carefully before I steal again, actually I won't steal again but you know what I mean

I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally stolen anything. Like, I’ve never had the mindset of actually wanting to take something that wasn’t mine. Maybe there were small things I took without permission when I was a kid, but nothing I consciously did with the intention to steal. If that makes sense lol.

Trip down memory lane. When I was a kid, as a grade schooler together with my classmates we go to a nearby minimart tho I didn't steal there but I still did a bad things. You know even there is a cctv we aren't afraid being caught, we still unpacked some goods that was wrapped as one or poking a needle to a bag of chips. As to stealing, I did at our store. I grab candy as many as I can.

Oh your story reminds me of when I was a kid There was a small shop beside our place where we lived One lady worked in shop So when we went on we would get her to look for stuff in the store of the shop whilst we grabbed candy bars There was no CCTV in days when I was young, 1960,s

Ja in Latvian means "yes." Some items have been taken free of charge because of financial situations. However, nothing of significance like an extra food item in a shopping cart with several other items on top and missed by the cashier, The funniest was when we went shopping with my MIL I was helping her carry a heavy laundry detergent jug. We all went one after the other through the line and paid for out purchases. When we walked out side I realized I was still holding the jug and now she had gotten the laundry detergent for free

Lol Well done indeed I once stole a microwave oven. A van had dumped it's load outside a shop , I was walking past, saw all this stuff lying on the pavement and picked up a microwave and walked away with it
