Northern Ohio was predicted to have big hail, wind and possible tornadoes last night. We had buckets of rain; but thankfully no severe weather. I hope everyone else in the affected areas is OK. It was 77 yesterday and will drop into the 20s tonight. Sheesh!
When it rains in buckets, it knocks out the post lamp out front; and it's pitch black. I have to wait until Sunday when cousin #3 will come. She has to go down the basement and flip the breaker switch. When the weather improves, the contractors are coming back to do the outside stuff. One of their missions will be to figure out why the light goes out when it rains really hard.
There was some damage from the meteors. One crashed through someone's roof in Texas.
I was sad to hear that the other half of Seals & Crofts, Dash Crofts, has passed away.at the age of 87. Seals & Crofts was one of my favorite duos; and now they're gone.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli
Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, veggie stix, yogurt

It's going to be cold for 2 days; and then it will be warmer.

I was watching Eric Wilhelm out of Youngstown. They had tornado warnings between you and Columbus…even in the area where Eva lives, but thankfully I haven’t heard of any damage.
I had the usual for lunch and chicken veggie soup for dinner. And applesauce!!!

I remember you telling us about that light. I hope they can fix it.
Crazy weather, but hopefully it will improve next month.
That meatloaf and mashed potatoes you had sounds delicious.
Today, I’m making a beef stew for Sunday night’s dinner when our granddaughter arrives. We will be eating out the rest of her time here.

Almost anything that comes from Meals on Wheels that contains ground beef has a bunch of gristle in it.

Like a big dummy, I bought some more of those Hershey's Protein Bars and it showed up on the scale this morning. I only ate two, but they have higher carbs than I've been having the last two weeks. Darn it!

We had a rainy night but no severe storms. The skies are clearing now and it looks like the sun might peek out. It's back to being cold again today.
Hope your light is an easy fix when the guys come to check it.
We had turkey sausages, peppers, onions and skillet potatoes.

One of the things I don't like about Spring is the severity of the weather, as warmer southern weather collides with northern cooler weather. It always brings out the worst in the storms. The poor midwest always seems to get it the worst, but it also affects many other states.
I never heard of Seals & Crofts, but sad to hear Crofts has passed away.

We had the strangest 24 hours of weather. From Wednesday night until late yesterday afternoon we had big lightning and thunder and off and on lashing winds and big rain. At 3 PM yesterday it was like 85 degrees!! By late evening it was alternating big rain, lots of storms, and I lost track of how many times it hailed. Thankfully, the hail was small but the wind sure sent it flying. Then it got really quiet about 11PM. The radar on my app said it was snowing and I knew that couldn’t be right. I opened the front door to get a look and it actually was snowing, and 30 degrees. I was surprised!! But it warmed up to 34 and rained again and it melted. What a weird day!!
