Other than off-and-on thunderstorms, our week won't be bitter cold. It's still too early to expect that we won't have some temperatures below freezing at night, but it won't be terrible, I don't think. I haven't had the heat on for days now, which makes me so happy. No AC either, not needed and I am working on stretching this time of reasonable temps to be kind to my electric bill. I think our rates are going up daily, it seems--it's scary!!

Hello. It is currently 68F here with an expected high of 81F tomorrow. I only had three things I needed to do today: I needed to go talk to the older neighbor about paying him to mow the yard this summer. I needed to make an appointment to have an echocardiogram done at the local hospital and I needed to make an appointment with someone on my doctor's staff for a general exam. I managed to get all three done this morning before I went to sleep. I wrote the appointment times down and just gave that note to Pretty so she can make a record of it on her laptop. I had to argue a little with the neighbor. Since gas is going up, I thought he deserved more than $25 to mow our yard this summer. He kept insisting he wasn't asking for more. I told him I was writing the check for $30 anyway and wrote it for three mow jobs. If the gas goes up very much, I'll insist on paying him more. I hope you've had a good day today and will have a good day tomorrow, too.

I had dinner, soaking in the tub, and that’s about it. Threats of record high temperatures this week.

Nothing tonight. Podiatrist in a few hours and cards tomorrow.

Supposed to be 76 next few days. I’m not ready for that yet.
