Sleep On

I honest to goodness do not remember much of the last three days. I know I slept a lot, I remember posting a few discussions, and I know last night I was awake except for one hour, but that’s about it. I must have slept pretty hard and deep.
How have you been sleeping lately?

I've been sleeping more than normal for me since I got home from the hospital. I don't feel like cleaning house or doing the dishes. *shrug* Pretty will leave them until I do them anyway.
Pretty has two large boxes blocking my way to the kitchen sinks. That's fine since I don't want to wash dishes.
I hope you feel better soon.

@AmbiePam I'm fine, thank you. I got most of the dishes done last night but had to sit down halfway through. My legs and back were giving out stretching over the boxes to reach the sinks. I left one sink full of dishes and may ask if Pretty can do them this afternoon when she wakes up. (I don't know if she will or not. *shrug*)

Sleep as much as you want. You'll feel better. As you know, I rarely sleep.

@AmbiePam Thanks. I managed to sleep 3 hours straight the other day; but I had been up at least 2 days. How are you feeling now? Any better?

I have heard some people say sleep is overrated. I don’t believe that statement. Wouldn’t it be great to just sleep until you really feel rested? Pure bliss!

Actually, surprisingly well. I am not taking much in the way of sleep meds either..just some magnesium and a little aspirin here and there. I am sure you needed the rest!

I’ve doubled my dose of magnesium to make sure I don’t have any more “episodes” where I end up in the ER again. Oddly, it doesn’t make me sleepy. I tell you though, it’s made a difference to my 14 year old niece. She no longer needs prescription sleep medicine.

@AmbiePam I hope it is safe to double the dose. Sad, it doesn't help with sleep.

It’s funny, I was sleeping well the first couple of weeks after the time change, and now I’m going to bed at 2:30 (which was 1:30, my normal bedtime before the time change).
Hope the sleep is making you feel better!

I absolutly have sleep issuesj. My dr and I had to try different things to get me to where I sleep all night. I take 2 different prescriptions which are Amitrptilene and hydromxamine. I take 1 of the Amitrpytalene and 3 of the hydroxyamine, My husband likes to say I take enought to put a elephant to sleep. But they help so I take them.
