Happy Tuesday everyone! it's sunny here this morning and we're going to hit the 80s by afternoon. Can we break the record for the highest temperature today? Guess we'll see but it's likely.
Last week when my cousin came for a visit she brought me a pretty spring bouquet of flowers. I have them on my kitchen island and even though they are now over a week old, they are still perky and beautiful. I'm actually surprised that they've lasted so long. In addition to the sun shining through the window, the flowers just make it feel very springlike. What a nice break from all that winter dreariness.
I don't have much planned for today. Even though it's nice I don't have anywhere to go. Maybe if it's really as warm as they say it will be I can sit outside and read.
Meanwhile, I'm enjoying my coffee and chatting here for awhile.

@Marilynda1225 Oh, nice! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I woke up a little bit ago because it was 80F in my bedroom. I got up and turned the A/C on and looked outside to check for mail. All I saw was gnats swarming on the front porch. I kept the front door closed!

@DaddyEvil gnats would keep me inside too. Thankfully my time on my deck wasn't disturbed by any insects.

It's a nice warm day already, we'll reach about 87f by 3 or so. Here we are in what I call a seasaw season, mostly it'll be warm but Mother Nature will throw in a day or 2 of 60sf then by May it'll pretty much stay hot, we might even see 100f before the end of May.

Hope you enjoyed your day. We hit the 80s already and it was beautiful after such a harsh winter. As much as I enjoyed the weather today I'm not looking forward to those scorching hot days of summer.
Hope they hold off for awhile before you get hit with them.
