An hour to relax

I had a few errands to do around town today but this is the least busy day I’ve had and will have all week. I did two loads of laundry, washed the dishes and cleaned the windows. Now I’m lying down and reading a book for an hour before my kids come home. I have to create a log for people sign who come to my geocaching event tomorrow and I have to make dinner later but that’s about it for the rest of the day. Thursday through Monday my little one has off school. Over those days I need to get groceries. I am hosting a geocaching luncheon (mentioned above) and going to a geocaching breakfast. I will be taking my little one to egg hunt and going to an Easter dinner at my parents house. Photo is of a heart shaped walnut I found while eating last week.

It's nice that you have some time to relax before your kids get home. And that you were able to get some errands done this morning. Enjoy!

@dodo19 I rarely get time to just sit down and relax so this feels wonderful . Now it wasn’t a rainy day I probably would have been doing other things and not relaxing.

@shaggin Then maybe it's a good thing it's raining. It gives you a chance to relax.

That's a walnut? It kind of looks like a gumdrop. I actually downloaded a geo catching app. There is one located about 5 milwa from here supposedly..but with the cost of gas.nor gonna venture over there just for that.

@snowy22315 gosh there’s probably 50 around a five mile area here mostly that I’ve hid. Did you pay for a premium membership or do you just have the free one? I usually try to find a geocache while I’m out. Gas deters me from going out just geocaching usually. But if there’s one not far from where I am going then I go for it if I have time.

@TheHorse Well if you just want to find geocaches you download an app that shows you where they are hidden. Then you go search for them. You can use a phone and or handheld gps to look for them. I’m working on one now that is a large thin magnet that will go on an old bridge, I have to spray paint it to look old and rusted. Then behind the magnet will be a log for them to sign there name when they find it.

I hope you have a great time at the luncheon and breakfast... Will you steal a bit of candy from your daughter after the egg hunt?

Our friend is flying to the east soon for a big geocaching convention. She loves it. I hope the luncheon goes well.
