Delivery food is not cheap. Do you agree?:(

Better stick to Mcdonald's, which has 6euros offer for McMenu every Wednesday. But, no, I had to taste some Korean food, which, with some small discount still wasn't cheap and portions were small yet, i was craving it. That reminds me of some size meals in Japan which are tiny, so tiny. So, yes, i ordered from a Korean store their rice cakes with hot sauce and kimbap and which i couldn't choose (which i hate as an option or non-option on this delivery app). There were 3 kinds of bimbap and they gave me one with the veggies; the cheapest, i feel. It was yummy but, overall, this was an expensive treat for this Easter and this month too and which hasn't even started yet. Ah. Also, I asked for chopsticks and they didn't give me or the app switched some things on its own. I am glad I ate this for dinner cause, this would have been a light lunch for me. Delivery food, especially, foreign one, not cheap at all. What are your experiences? I rarely order a delivery food. P.s. This is an online photo, not mine and not this huge

In my country, availing food online is not that cheap. Thus, I prefer to take out food instead.

@valherma00 Well, I was born in the US so my palate is basically American foods. I do like Chinese/oriental foods, pizza, good Italian dishes, etc. But I can make those at home, too. We just don't go out hardly ever.

@MarieCoyle i also like my croatian food the most or more the food that i'm used to since childhood days. i tried pizza when i was 17 so i didn't crave it before, for example and i still don't much chinese and other asian food is tempting me cause it's different but i can't eat it every day.

We live in a small place not large enough to get delivery so I have no clue how expensive the food could be. I thought you were going to say it came straight from Korea and was still hot/cold by the time you received your order.

it was 10 euros in whole but i was hoping for bigger portions. i don't order delivery food too; i just had a small urge for a seaweed and some spicy food these were original korean products; i saw some hangul, korean writing but, i guess i'm a cheapskate and this won't happen to me again, delivery and all

@valherma00 I do all the cooking here and get tired of eating what I've made, even though I know it will be delicious.

@DaddyEvil it is tiring but you appreciate food more. i don't get people who always order food, even at work.

I never order food to be delivered, I think the only thing we can order to be delivered is a pizza, but it's a lot more expensive than a pizza bought at a grocery store.

The only food we ever get delivered is pizza and you always know what you're going to get with that.

We don’t order delivery food. I try hard to have ingredients for some meals already here at home, sometimes when I make a meal I make extra on purpose and freeze that for a day when we are too busy. I feel that with a delivery charge, tips, etc. it’s just not worth it. I don’t mind cooking.

i always make my own food but i had a small urge; maybe due to holidays approaching. it was 10euros but i could have spent it somewhere else. lesson learned. you are right; i got a discount for a delivery fee and only 2euros on food which was pricey enough. it was good but no more for me.

Here it depends on the distance between the shop and the buyer and also the packaging costs, sometimes even the driver doesn't want to pick it up because in fact drivers do not fully get what they should get. If could say that online ordering is more expensive because there are additional costs every time we order something there.

you are right, there are too many 100costs. before, it was paid or free delivery and that's it.

We do have takeaway food but we collect it. We don’t order for delivery , we can order ahead and then collect it.
