Went to two stores.

I know better than to go shopping on the first day of the month. The first store I just wanted a bag of apples and a bag of oranges. There were long lines. So I had to get my husband meds for the month. So I paid for them at the pharmacy. No line there so I was out of that store really fast.
Next store was Winco and there was long lines there to. I just got a loaf of bread and eggs and went through the self check out. I can get the rest of the stuff another day when there are no long lines.
It is 49F here and raining.

If you shop early in the morning here, usually, we have the stores to ourselves. We used to go late at night but then stores started closing at 10 pm and I don't want to shop when they're trying to close the stores.

@DaddyEvil I sleep until 8AM since I go to bed at 1AM. My cousin goes shopping early in the morning. But not me.

@jstory07 Walmart, which is where we normally shop, opens at 6 am. They say it's so old people can get in and out before their day starts. We almost never see anyone in the store except employees there until around 8 am.
