4/1/26 - Meals

This weather is so nutty. Near and below freezing again yesterday; but today, April 2, it will be near 70F (21 Celsius).
Today I have a doctor's appointment. After the appointment J and I will go to Red Lobster. Yum. I'm not supposed to have shellfish anymore; but once can't hurt.
I'm starting to make appointments for painters to come and give me estimates on painting the house. I've been noticing some peeling. I also have a company coming out to do a checkup on the standby generator. I have a feeling I'm going to need it quite a bit this summer.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Spaghetti and meatballs, spinach, mixed veggies, apricots
I called the Council on Aging to complain about the meatballs. Like most of their other ground meat meals, the meatballs were full of gristle and bone.
Dessert/Snack - Brownie
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, sweet potato chips, yogurt

@LindaOhio I’m about to prepare a chicken katsu curry for tonight though I have neither smell more taste with this terrible cold in my head.

The forecast for my region is a very hot and very dry summer season.
Yesterday we had stack your own wraps with fresh deli meats and cheeses and veggies for supper.
I made some fresh devilled eggs for my husband, as he loves them, and did up a nice relish tray.
We had some potato chips on the side.

I hope your day goes well and a trip to Red Lobster certainly will boost your spirits. I doubt it will hurt since it's been quite awhile since you were there.
Hope you get some decent estimates on the house and generator
We had spaghetti with meatballs for dinner. Wednesday always seems to be our pasta night

That meat sounds just nasty. Somehow, you need better quality meals. I wish you had some other options. I hope you have a nice time at Red Lobster after your appointment.

I ate a beef burrito with salsa on it for breakfast, had an apple, a red plum and red raspberries for lunch and then ate Bagel Bites for supper last night.

I have a list of food I eat which I really shouldnt
