Today we got a letter from Housing thanking us for our cooperation during the REAC inspection. They scored an 87 out of 100 and they are very excited about this score. (They only got a 33 last year.) It had to do with the new ruling that all furniture has to be 36 inches away from the base boards. A very nice thank you note for our cooperation with maintenance and how well we all worked with them.
Oh, if they only knew how we really felt about the whole thing.

An inspection by the big wigs. They are now making the 36 inch clearance a part of the Section 8 voucher approval.

I wonder if that is who is doing ours...although I don't know about that distance, and was just for the heaters here...but we were warned about them being a certain distance too.
And feeling like it is a pain in the behind?
