I found the state park that I was looking for today. It's about 16 miles down a country highway from the freeway. Imagine loud impatient pickups behind you and a logging truck or two and you will get the picture. Perfect day for a walk beside a river- river steeply down beside us to the left. Walking buddy is worth every penny I pay her. She kept hold of delighted Moxe. I bet her arm is tired now. Horses are allowed on certain trails. We saw a lady and her daughter by a horse trailer. There were two lovely horses tied to the trailer. I kept nosy Rufus busy so he didn't notice the big guys. Summer weather again today. We stopped at a local fast food place on the way home. Buddy ordered what turned out to be a huge vanilla ice cream cone. I shared a couple of corn dogs with the pups. I challenged myself. I have been dreading the weed trimmer. It is a long monster.. I rested a bit then took it out to the front fence and mowed down the huge purple weed mess there. Of course that left a thick layer of herbal junk on the sidewalk so I swept that up and bagged it. It will go into one of the growing boxes for mulch. Can anybody say tired boys and girls? I hope you can see the photo.
