I must be starting to get old

April 9, 2026 8:35am CST
Well what can I say I must be starting to get old Fell asleep in my chair watching TV last night First time ever. Yvonne grabbed my phone before I dropped it Shook me vigorously And told me it was bed time At 11.30pm if I recall correctly Earliest bed for me in 29 years!! Imagine falling asleep on a chair watching telly!? No booze No weed Just snoring which annoyed my wife I'm only 65. Shouldn't be doing that. Should I?

Television is so boring that I am not surprised you fell asleep watching TV.

I think it’s normal to occasionally fall asleep watching television. I have done it in the past. You needed the sleep.

I sure did But I don't think I have ever slept for 14 hours before I was up to the bathroom a couple of times but other than that must have slept soundly

Yvonne suggested I had been sleeping for a while. I think she meant five minutes Then she got irked with the snoring , she said, and shook me

I mean the other day we visited my pal from school Paul. He was saying a mutual friend has started wearing paper under wear. I said to Paul it would be funny if he had to do the same And he said it would be funny if I had to

@Marilynda1225 So do I. I mean the bumps.of.the bike on the road could make a body fill a paper pants in no time here. Very bumpy some of the roads. I would need to cut my liquids consumption down , oh god no please because I like my coffee too much

My friend used to fall asleep during mid conversation. You are still young - he was nearing eighty at that time.

@dodo19 Deffo normal, no doubt about that. Busy moms and wife's deserve a nap after working so hard to look after kids and keep a house and maybe work a job as well

It was my dad’s favorite thing to do. He did that when I was a child (and he was in his 30s).

Then I must be doing life the opposite way and getting younger by the day because when i was a child I would often fall asleep in front of the TV, and now when I watch a video or DVD I no longer fall asleep,

@Ineeddentures I am not sure if I am thinking of the same one but Tom Hanks played a child who got BIG and became a grown up and then there have been films where grownups become children,

@Ineeddentures I don't know, are you diabetic? Have insulin resistance? - that part usually comes long before diabetes I am not too tired now, but my sugar is only in the 160s. Now if I am tired after eating, I expect that I am probably 200+ I already know enough about age lol....I feel much older than just almost 40
