Glad you and Sadie got to get out for awhile and that your day seems to be going well. My daughter and I took Mush for a short walk not for the exercise but to be nosey. The house on the corner from us has a 4 sale sign so we casually walked by to see which realtor had it listed so we could go home and goggle it online.

The price is decent which is always encouraging and I do like all her furniture and how her house is decorated, Her husband passed away a few years ago so I'm not surprised that she's decided to move.I doubt it will be on the market very long.

It's cloudy and sprinkling here this morning. The forecast says possible storms this afternoon/evening. The only thing Pretty and I have planned it to go buy some breaded and deep fried chicken strips at the new-to-us grocery store. Pretty wants to wander around. (They have one area with "stuff" in open boxes for sale. She wants to look through it all and I'll be bored doing that. I'll go back to the car and read while she browses.) I hope your daughter feels better and can go visit her friends this afternoon. Our high was supposed to be 80F today but with the rain, the forecast high is coming down. It's showing a high now of 73F, which is fine with me.

@Marilynda1225 Pretty is still asleep. We can go when she wakes up. Usually, that's about 5 pm, when I start making late lunch. I totally understand that. I wouldn't leave the house if my stomach was acting up, either. We had on bad storm that took some limbs down in the back yard. We'll have to see about gathering those and putting them out for the trash truck.

Hope you enjoyed your trip to the new grocery store and Pretty found some good things, My daughter cancelled her visit to her friends party, Can't drive over 2 hrs if your stomach is acting up

My Saturday was as busy as the rest of the week. Just work. It's Sunday now and I will be busy in a few minutes as well. Going to work again. My life has been all about work recently.

I was away from myLot until recently. I read at the pool and gabbed with some women I know, went out for breakfast with hubs and my brother, threw in a load of laundry, walked the hallways and stairs, and did a quick vacuum. That’s all I can handle for today

I hope your daughter’s stomach feels better soon so she can see her friends later. I thought I was coming down with a sore throat last night, but feel fine today. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday

I went grocery shopping this morning. I wasn't even home yet and my son was texting me telling me that the girls were up and asking for Nanny to come over. I texted him from the grocery store that raspberries were on sale and picked him up 6 boxes (twins go through alot of food) and he was so happy because he was almost out of them and that would do them the week. I was only home about 10 minutes, my hubby had a load of laundry on the go and put away the groceries for me. I was back out the door, but I asked him first, is this how busy I will be when I retire? He laughed and nodded yet to me. My son and the girls and I went on a 4 km walk to St. Theresa grade school, which is where they will go in September. Poor old Nanny's bad ankle took a hit from Willow when she jumped off a curb and landed on it. I just ordered a new pair really good slip on Merrell shoes, to replace my worn ones. I really hope that they arrive before I leave next week. I will need them for walking in Victoria.

@Marilynda1225 Oh nooo.....not busier. This old Nanny needs to relish the time left during her working career to get rested up then.

I don't know if Willow didn't accidentally cause me sprain my ankle, I've had it on ice for an hour's time and fear that I will not be able to weight bear on it for the rest of the day today.

Wow that sounds like your day was off to a very busy start. Glad you were able to get so much done and also spend time with the girls. Hope you get your new shoes before your trip and they work out well for you. You'll need a good pair of shoes for all that walking on your trip, I hate to say it but....you'll be busier when you retire
