Busy Day

I got the mowing and trimming done out back. Hubby mowed too. Now the yard looks a lot better. I still have some trimming to do in the front yard. But that will wait for another day. Especially since we have a thunderstorm right now. I am hoping it passes soon so I don't melt while feeding the chickens 
I figured out where I am going to finally plant my prickly pear cactus at. I dug some old decorative fence panels out of the weeds for that. I willadd hardware cloth to that to keep them from falling through.
The picture is my snowball bush. The flowers are starting to form now. Can't wait for them to turn white. I will start planting things permanently when that happens.

George already told me you told him to feed the other animals so you can quit pretending that you do all the work around your house. 
I did dishes this morning and again this afternoon. I also split up a 5 lbs roll of ground beef into 1 lbs Ziploc bags for the freezer, then used I lbs of it when I made late lunch. Pasta and cheese with ground beef. 
Delicious! I diced up two red bell peppers to use in the pasta, too, and put the extra diced peppers into a bowl in the fridge for tomorrow. I sliced a red onion to use half of it in the pasta, as well and put the other half in the fridge for tomorrow. (I'm thinking scrambled eggs with the leftover veggies for breakfast tomorrow. We shall see how I feel in the morning.)

They are beautiful bushes.
The prickly pear ones should. I planted some starts last year outside and they are coming back. You know how cold we got.

That's a lovely bush. I think the rain will stop here by Sunday. If it does and things do dry out I will either mow or use the Weeder. The Weeder makes me tremble with the effort but there are places that are too thick and tall for the mower.

That's a huge snowball bush. I hope when they all turn white you can get a picture for us. They are always so pretty.
I keep forgetting to ask, are your chickens keeping you in eggs now?
