We had such a wonderful Friday

Hubs finished rehab today and bought bagels, doughnuts, a fruit platter, and the works for the wonderful staff.
Together we went for vaccinations, then out to lunch, and did a bit of shopping.
We hung out with friends at the pool for a bit. Today was such a gorgeous day!
My brother called from Connecticut. He loves being back there.
We’re getting a new car. It’s being built now and should be ready sometime towards the end of May or June. It will replace the one we have in Florida which will be shipped home Tuesday.
Now I am relaxing on the lanai with my Friday date night martini. Pizza for dinner.
Photo is of my Weeping Cherry Tree in Connecticut which I never get to see in full bloom anymore. This photo will have to do.

That tree really caught my attention. It’s beautiful and in full bloom, making it look absolutely gorgeous. It reminded me of one I saw in Washington, D.C., during the Cherry Blossom season when I visited about eight years ago. It was such a lovely sight to see those blossoms lining the streets, creating a stunning and unforgettable scene.
