Most of the bugs here are desert dwellers and boy are they a pain in the whowhos @wolfgirl569 if you're not in a desert area it's likely you won't have that problem

@wolfgirl569 Yes, they spread by dropping "pads" or by sending new sprouts up from their roots. Have you tried eating any of the "leaves" or pads as they're usually called? Mom used to strip the outer hide off of pads, which takes the needles off and then frying them with whatever type of meat you have thawed. The pads pick up the flavor of the meat you cook them with and the spices. They're really good! We have a tornado watch until 2 am but it's storming to beat the band here right now. We just had heavy hail hitting the house and windows.
