We woke up to a cloudy, overcast day. By the time we got to church the breeze was picking up.
After church we stopped at Dillons, and I got gas because it was not raining and we were down half a tank. We have an appointment in Newton tomorrow.
As we drove home we began to see lightning far off to the west. Occasionally we would have a big plop drop on the windshield.
We got home and it was dry, no clouds directly overhead. Then the storm blew on in. Lots of thunder and lightning. A deluge of rain. Then showers of hail, little hail.
The storm has blown on past. All the low lying areas are full of water. The cats are hidden.
For us this was a worse storm than the one last Thursday. Since the lightning has now moved out of the area I turned the computer back on, just to see how things are for you guys.
Bob is sleeping like a baby.

Stay safe and do not go outside unless it is very important.

I hope you don't get more storms. It's gentle rain here - great for the gardens.

I bet you are thanking your lucky stars you got home before the storm blew in.

Sounds the Springiest of storms. We had a similar one a while back.

I'm glad that hail has gone.
Here it's windy and very dusty, I'm staying inside and so is Roscoe.
